so i'm not entirely certain this is an ember issue. the "redirect" it does is just hashing the url and not actually refreshing the page, similiar to how backbone or some other MVC framework changes pages.
with my local copy, looking at the network requests on chrome dev tools, it does only show the page loading once. on the OS version, https://secure-pushee.rhcloud.com/ag-push, it does the 302 and redirects back to http
