I think this has become out of date, the current thinking is that we instruct users to add libraries whenever required, and avoid using the idea of an SDK, because:

• we are inconsistent
• there are too many (eg js push sdk)
• we don't have a 'kit', just libraries and cluster resources
• it's a term associated with a service eg rhmap firebase, rather than a managed service
