UPS currently uses pushy v0.10.2. For performance reasons we have our own implementation of a APNS connection cache. Later versions of pushy bring their own connection pooling and a more robust error handling.

Investigate if we can update to a newer version and how much effort that would be. Also include tasks like performance testing.
