The current implementation in the UI only deals with request failures but not with the specific error codes returned.
e.g. If the apps request fails for any reason the user is shown the current implementation of the user blank slate experience which is a screen with the text `No apps found`
This JIRA asks to show the user more informative information by way of a PF Alert on the receipt of a 404.
