What:
A concise, developer focused, README on how to get started with the template app.

Why:
It is quite probable that developers will not be familiar with Xamarin. They may need a guide for adding new views/features to the template app. They may even need some information on how to open and run the app using Visual Studio.

How:
Create a concise README explaining how to:

• Get Visual Studio (https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/)
• Open/Run/Build the application
• Add a new view to the app. Probably referring back to an existing view.

The assumption should be made that the developer will be using Visual Studio, not something like Xamarin Studio (because it now just redirects to Visual Studio installation).

It shouldn't be anything flashy and should be developer focused.
