Ok, sounds good.

Initially I will do both upgrades and downgrades but perhaps we can prevent downgrades in the future.

I know UPS is using Liquibase and that takes care of DB changes in the upgrade. However it won't support a downgrade.

I would happily ignore this problem for now.
