I tried with the compilers plugins that are on jekyll page, I get this:
You are missing the library required for less. Please run:
$ [sudo] gem install less
Conversion error: There was an error converting 'css/styles.less'.

ERROR: YOUR SITE COULD NOT BE BUILT:
------------------------------------
Missing dependency: less
Even though I installed less gem it doesn't work.
