A few more tests. I am getting the same error on different environments:

Same when running EAP 6.4 with "5.6.23" of MySQL Community Server (via Docker)
Same when running EAP 6.4 with "10.0.17-MariaDB" (via Docker)
Same when running EAP 6.4 with "5.5.41" of MySQL Community Server (running locally)
