Did you replaced the configuration code with your own? The dashboard will provide it if you click " To see installation instructions and code snippet click here", it's something like. Make sure you remove the iOS part as you are not testing it for now and don't have values to fill it. Also, make sure you app id matches the id of the app you created on firebase console and that you downloaded the google-services.json for that app and put it on the www folder of your app.
