I am registered with Freenode, that also recognizes my alias, but trying to  enter #cdi-dev fails with an error:
#cdi-dev Cannot join channel (+r) - you need to be identified with services

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks,
Werner

You?ll have to register with freenode, I guess. No other special credentials needed.

Best regards, Mark
