Arjan,

I posted an message on their forum two years ago to know their plan for CDI 1.1 support. Still waiting for the answer... I changed the sentence in "the two main implementations".

Candi implements CDI 1.0 and never provided solution for java SE. To my knowledge that don't have plan for CDI 1.2 or 2.0.

I noticed that Resin (which uses CanDI as its CDI implementation) is still active. I would assume that eventually they'll want to move to EE 7 and not stay on EE 6 "forever". But I'll ask in the Resin mailing group.

Anyway, maybe the sentence would be a little more correct if it was something like:

"Since the beginning two of the three early implementations (JBoss Weld and Apache OpenWebBeans) proposed proprietary solutions to use CDI in Java SE."

Kind regards,

Hi,

I've got one comment:

Aren't there 3 implementations really? CanDI implements CDI too, doesn't it?

Kind regards,
