This has been a problem on the Hudson boxes, but also it's not playing nice according to Maven. (You'd think the Surefire plugin would default to having a temporary directory under "target", but evidently it doesn't.) To correct, we need to change the POM files so that the Surefire plugin does use a temporary directory underneath "target". That way, everything is cleaned up. One problem with the current design is that it's not really feasible or possible to track with each child the identification properties for the child. For example, when getting the children of a node, it's not mandatory (nor that clear) that identification properties be recorded for each child as well.
