Randall Hauch commented on DNA-580:
-----------------------------------
So, of the 5 rebranding steps I listed earlier, these are DONE:
1) The JBoss DNA SVN has already been locked down, and no more changes can be made to it.
2) All of the history from the DNA SVN has already been loaded into the ModeShape SVN.
Basically, it looks exactly like the DNA repository did right after the 0.7 release. But
at the moment, it is locked down as well, pending the next step.
4) The projects/modules have been renamed, the packages and classes changed, and the
documentation changed and figures updated.
Still to do:
3) Migrate all of the JIRA issues from DNA to MODE
5) Open up SVN
I actually would like to wait on #5 until we release ModeShape 1.0.0.Beta1 (in a day or
two, actually). I think it is critical that the behavior of ModeShape 1.0.0.Beta1 be the
same as JBoss DNA 0.7, so it is much easier for people to convert/migrate. Therefore, any
changes to the codebase should be put into a patch and attached to this issue, and I will
apply.
Rebrand project to new name

The project will be rebranded, so we need to change the package names and all references
