Regarding the issue I was having with deploying to JBoss, the updated archetype (http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/errai/trunk/archetypes/quickstart/src/main/resources/archetype-resources/pom.xml) and jboss6 profile fixes it. Thanks, hbraun!
