In Forge 3 the parameter names adopt a unix-style convention. Forge does not throw any exceptions if the parameter is misspelled. That is just wrong and I hate that eclipse has that as default. According to the JPA Spec: {quote} "If an entity instance is to be passed by value as a detached object (e.g., through a remote interface), the entity class must implement the Serializable interface." "JSR 220: Enterprise JavaBeansTM,Version 3.0 Java Persistence API Version 3.0, Final Release May 2, 2006" {quote} The alternatives we have are: Make Forge generate the {{serialVersionUID}} (it can be set as 1L as it won´t be an issue anyway) OR the {{@SuppressWarnings("serialization")}} when creating the new entity. I personally lean towards the first option, but I am open for ideas.
