This looks similar to FORGE-742. I might be wrong about both of them being related to each
other, but if they are, this behaviour has something to do with how the AS7 output is
redirected to the Forge shell, and how the Forge shell interpreter parses keystrokes in
the presence of redirected output.

When attempting to exit Forge by typing exit and pressing enter a hang occurs. Using
CTRL+D does seem to work.
