Fabian,
Unfortunately, we can't change the Shell API, but it's something we may consider
in future versions.
For the meanwhile, use AbstractShellTest.getOutput().

AbstractShellTest#getShell().execute("a command"); returns void. It would be
very usefull if the output of the executed command was returned.
