Yes, the template switching feature probably does not work now because we changed some notions of layout in GateIn from eXo Portal. It should be fixed soon
So i think we can disable that option from Edit Page's properties now. But should not remove that feature because we still need it for WebOS later soon when upgrading to GateIn.

the PageTemplate.groovy file you may be able to bring back that option
(I couldn't get it to work exactly, it was trying to do something like
webui but I don't know if I set the right options).
I think we should probably disable the option from showing up in the ui
but I don't know if we want to remove the framework for doing the
switching.
