I don't want to make a PR before we agree on the solution, but it seems to be the correct way how to handle the issue with current GateIn. According to the guide (3.1.7.3. How to Create New Portlet skins - note at the end): http://docs.jboss.org/gatein/portal/latest/reference-guide/en-US/html_sin... if we want to have support for other skins we have to update our gatein-resource.xml files.
