Matt Wringe commented on GTNPORTAL-636:
---------------------------------------
The issue which is occuring after the net.jcip.annotations is due to an ordering issue
with wsrp and the jcr configuration.
A work around is to remove the wsrp intregration from the gatein.ear (remove the files
containing wsrp and update the ear's application.xml to no longer reference these
files). I have only done very simple testing, the portal comes up without issue, but I
don't know if using the IBM jdk will cause any other issues. Further testing is needed
once we get this ordering issue fixed.
With the IBM jdk the wsrp ExoKernelIntergration is being called before the
component-plugins-configuration.xml sets up the 'respository' jcr repository. The
ordering needs to be specified, but the component-plugins-configuration.xml is using an
external-plugin-configuration which may make it a bit difficult to specify this ordering.
It doesn't run on IBM JDK
