Indeed, it's an issue with UIPortal cache.
To support the Abort action, we use a clone UIPortal during Edit Inline phase. That
object is built from UserPortalConfig. Persistenting edited UIPortal is done through that
clone UIPortal. That 's why the save is done properly even if the UI was wrongly
display

To reproduce :
- Go to Home page
- Edit layout to change something -> then save. the change is effected
- Go to other page like Application Registry then come back the Home page. here you will
see the layout is back to initial one but it should show the new one
Apparently it looks like a cache issue of UI level.
