[JBoss JIRA] (GTNPORTAL-3067) GateIn Redirect Admin UI: Wrong actions after sorting redirects or conditions
by Alexandre Mendonça (JIRA)
Alexandre Mendonça created GTNPORTAL-3067:
---------------------------------------------
Summary: GateIn Redirect Admin UI: Wrong actions after sorting redirects or conditions
Key: GTNPORTAL-3067
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/GTNPORTAL-3067
Project: GateIn Portal
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
Reporter: Alexandre Mendonça
Assignee: Alexandre Mendonça
After sorting redirects or conditions if an action is performed on one of the elements, it doesn't perform the action on the desired entry but rather on the element previously occupying such position.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Assuming there's a list of redirects "Redirect One" and "Redirect Two" by this order;
2. Change it to be "Redirect Two", "Redirect One";
3. Click Configure on "Redirect Two";
4. "Redirect One" is opened for configuration instead of desired "Redirect Two".
The same applies to conditions.
This is probably due to JSF/RF internal way of handling it, relying on indexes which are not updated with sorting, which is done only by jQuery usage.

> If you add a portlet using JQuery to layout, so it's visible while using the administration interface of "Site", you would be able to reproduce the issue.
> I'm attaching the portlet as an attachment (src + war in the target directory). Put it somewhere on the page and go to the "Site" management. If you click on the portlet link, an alert will pop-up. When you click on the "edit navigation" -> "save" (save even without doing any changes), the link won't respond to clicking any more.
> After the save button is pressed, the page is reloaded by ajax, but it seems that it doesn't handle the JS correctly.
