Down the road, it leads to a base64 decoding failure. Checking the WSRP communication for a situation like this, it's clear that the slash does not belongs there, and it's never OK to have it there (as the data will be decoded later). So, as a workaround, we should just be lenient and fix the string here, as we might not have control over who builds this.
