That will require working out how to inject some standard portlet spec artifacts, how to deal with portlet spec contexts, but also a creation of a clean, injection friendly GateIn Public API to access GateIn services. Make use of CDI events / observers to propagate portlet-spec events, and Web UI or Kernel level events that would be part of the public API.
