You should set height property in ModulePrefs tag of your gadget
Example:
<ModulePrefs
...
height="400">
this height property will be set to gadget content iframe.
If you don't set it, your gadget will have default height is 299px (whole gadget
height).
I tested your gadget with height="400", it look fine.

sometimes google gadgets don't get rendered properly and get cut off when rendered.
steps to reproduce:
1) add a google gadget to the dashboard:
http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/112581010116074801021/hamster...
[note this gadget will require GTNPORTAL-1014 to be fixed first]
2) gadget should look fine
3) maximise the gadget, the gadget is now cut off.
4) edit the gadget while maximized, the gadget is cut off
