There is still an issue with the tests. The tests are all passing, but sometimes when a service get shutdown a NullPointerException will be logged. These null pointers occur when some services try and log something during shutdown. There may be an issue here with the logging service shutting down before other services are stopped and this might be the cause of the problem. This issue doesn't occur with when using the Sun JDK, but we have seen issues where the IBM jdk does somethings in a different order: tests, picocontainer shutdown/startup order, etc.. The tests are all passing, but there are issues when the tests are shutdown (as evident by stacktraces in the test logs).
