---------------------------------
Resolution: Done
Fix commited in revision 2307. The PortletContainerException will not print print the
stacktrace on creation, leaving whatever catches the exception to determine what to do
with it.
PortletContainerException get printed to the logs twice
-------------------------------------------------------
Key: GTNPORTAL-897
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/GTNPORTAL-897
Project: GateIn Portal
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Reporter: Matt Wringe
Assignee: Matt Wringe
Fix For: 3.1.0-GA
When a org.exoplatform.services.portletcontainer.PortletContainerException is created,
its constructor prints a stacktrace. If something handles the exception it will most
likely also print the stack trace.
This means that portlet exceptions are usually printed twice to the logs and we are
unable to handle these types of errors without creating log exceptions.
