It should be reduced to 1 call to improve performance and avoid possible consistency issues. - In the RedirectRequestHandler are many calls to log.debug which are called during each HTTP request and have some minor impact on performance. They should be wrapped within {code} if (debug) { log.debug(...); } {code} or alternatively changed to trace (I am leaving debug for backward compatibility)
