I have done GSOC as a student like you the last year and I would say it is not necessary for us (as organizers) to see this - it is really necessary for core GSOC organizers to accept you from legal point of view - assuring them that you are really a student.

From our side, it is not _so much_ needed since we know that when you are accepted you are a student anyway.

Thank you for this, however be sure you have sent this to GSOC organizers at Google.

Is there any public accessible proposal you have sent? According to this https://lists.jboss.org/pipermail/gsoc/2014-March/date.html your post seems to come out of void.
