Version 37 upgrades to Cassandra 3.3 and Driver 3.0.0 and is supposed to

Cassandra 3.3 was chosen to be the version for OpenShift 3.2.

Hawkular Metrics currently does not support C* 3.3 and there are no plans
to retroactively update any previous releases to support C* 3.x. I am not
sure what is the basis for the information in the last sentence.

Sorry for the confusion, I had improper info about which OpenShift
version is c* 3.3 targeting. Apparently, c* 3.3 targets OpenShift 3.3.

This is not accurate either; I am not aware of any final decisions regarding C* upgrades at this time.

We are currently on Cassandra 2.2.2. I think we want to move to 3.x sooner than later so that we can start getting familiar with the changes and to start developing performance baselines. Any performance testing we do right now loses a lot of its value once we move to 3.x.
