I thought this was becoming obsolete, with the removal of `hibernate-ehcache`, but I see we're not quite there yet.
I've really busy lately, between family, work… and some play, couldn't make time for OSS. But should have a few hours on the train back from Ottawa later today. I'll pull the latest master (tried to catch up on the different issues, the "new Ehcahe RegionFactorys" made no sense initially but now does). If all goes well, I should be able to update the PR to these changes.
If not, well, I'll let the TC people take over if this is to be better time boxed
