Hi Marcelo, no need to explain those technical scenarious, I'm very well aware of them and as I said I agree with you in principle The problem is just that many others will disagree. Good point on the developer's timezone, I forgot about that problem as I use Linux on UTC

For what it matters, I'd +1 this change. It's a significant change though, so what you could consider a "bugfix" would introduce critical issues for others.. we might need to fix this, but there needs to be a plan for painless migration to the "better way".. maybe we should deprecate this annotation and use a new one, so that people will migrate as and when they can face this.
