The batch is not executed because it's not full yet, haven't reached the configured number: 20.

As mentioned in https://hibernate.atlassian.net/browse/HHH-12470 the SQL log is lying, it prints the correct statements, in the right order, but they are not executed/sent to DB at that point, because the statements are being batched.
