On the forum we discussed possible solutions to the problem:
1. add a flag which would allow missing relations and set null if that's the case
2. change the history to null out the fields

I think 1. is better. We could add @Audited(targetAuditMode=RelationTargetAuditMode.NOT_AUDITED_NULLABLE)? What do you think?
