Yes it's something we have on the radar.

Moving to using Stax instead of JAXB is on the table (we did it for HV but the descriptors are far simpler) but there's really little chance we will have the bandwidth to do that anytime soon given all the ORM 6 work currently going on.

On the bright side, we are testing ORM with JDK 11 for a while now.
