William Ferreira, can you confirm that this is an issue for you because in the case of a bidirectional many-to-many relationship, both sides own the relationship. This would mean based on the javadoc for org.hibernate.envers.revision_on_collection_change, setting the flag to false shouldn't influence the behavior because both sides of the relationship own the relation?
