@Galder it was a BlueJeans session, so it may have been recorded. I'll find out as I was not the organizer. I thought Radim was on the call - he was invited at least. That said, we basically agreed that the proposal here was essentially good (certainly better than the existing one) and that we should implement those changes. One thing we had discussed improving (even back to
HHH-10707 Open ) was giving the providers some indication whether a region name was reused to store different things. We should certainly expand on that and get specific. Like I think you really want to know:
- whether multiple entities share the same region-name,
- whether multiple collections share the same region-name
- etc
Specifically (because of how keys are constructed) I do not think it matters whether a single entity and a single collection,e.g., happen to share the same region-name. But I'd like to get y'alls thoughts. Also, in what form should we pass this information? |
