Steve Ebersole, I was out of town for 2 days. I attached WildFly's server.log and set the log level for org.hibernate and org.jboss.as.jpa (using Hibernate 4.3.0.CR1):

• empty log when started
• deployed the web app
• sent a POST request for the RESTful WS
• 1st warning is is at line 13466
  I don't know how to >>enable "location info" for the logger" in WildFly's standalone.xml...
