I do not believe that BinTray cares whether artifacts are signed. I could be wrong though, we should investigate more.

Also, I discovered that there is actually a solution for snapshots using Artifactory (just not BinTray specifically) for snapshots as well - oss.jfrog.org Or again we could just continue to publish snapshots to JBoss's snapshot repo. I'll have to ask Sonatype about the implications of both in terms of the syncing they currently do in regards to snapshots versus not coming from different sources.
