In order to fix this, we'd need some sort of test case or analysis that can reliably reproduce it. And that would have to be on ORM 4.3.x or later – ORM 3 is horribly outdated and no longer maintained. Try searching for other JIRA issues including the "ORA-00904" text. There are quite a few and some may be relevant.
