Radim Vansa, Chris Dennis, Galder Zamarreno, Louis Jacomet - I'd really like if y'all have a chance to look over the working changes based on this proposal to verify it works for what you need. Basically so far I have changed the SPI, and implemented those changes in the test caching impl so that you can see how that looks.

If y'all like it, I will do the same treatment to the hibernate-ehcache, hibernate-infinispan and hibernate-jcache impls.
