+1 if this is easily possible then. I got so used to actually doing this from the command line, I forgot that it must be a pita for new users or people not so attached to the command line as I am. If removing the circularity between hibernate-core and hibernate-testing allows for an easier IDE setup I give it a +1.
I guess the annotation processing options must have changed in the latest Idea release. Before that they kind of sucked. I still need to install the latest version.
