Could you maybe debug BeanMetaDataManagerTest in your IDE (it's a plain TestNG test) and let us know whether the class bytes in myFindClass() can be properly loaded and whether defineClass() returns a class object? You might also check any ocurring exceptions in the catch block on line 122.
