I'm inclined to agree with Lukasz here. The RevisionListener is the most apt way to access a revision info entity. The exposure of this data via HHH-3823 - Obtain current revision entity by AuditReader Closed has since been deprecated. While other avenues may be introduced at future points, the listener is the recommended way moving forward.
