We may be able to. All I said was that it may need extra work to get there due to timing and that I'd have to look. The concern is timing.

I think it would be worth having a look. Having this nice descriptor model replacing the java.lang.reflection calls when building the metamodel, but still having to refer to let's say Jandex for annotations seems odd.
