Scott Marlow unless I hear otherwise I consider this finished. Specifically I was waiting for you to check the custom CustomJtaPlatformInitiator to see if that is the proper one. On HipChat you mentioned to use org.hibernate.engine.transaction.jta.platform.internal.JBossAppServerJtaPlatform, but in jipijapa there is a custom one already : org.jboss.as.jpa.hibernate5.JBossAppServerJtaPlatform. Either we should use this custom jipijapa one, or delete it.
