Well not to beat a dead horse, but the "generification" I had in mind here was more at the "JdbcSession" level, attempting to isolate that fulcrum point between data-store specific calls and "java land". I don't really see another level where we can consistently apply some generification.

But as Emmanuel Bernard said, if you come up with some concrete ideas, lets discuss.
