Chris Dennis Henri Tremblay - so from what I am hearing the torch has been fully passed again wrt Ehcache and the decisions here fall on you 2

So basically we have a number of outstanding Ehcache related issues and then this major change to the Hibernate second-level cache SPI that we still need to adapt hibernate-ehcache to. Overall I am wondering if we should simply drop support for Ehcache directly (drop this hibernate-ehcache module) and instead focus on the JCache support. WDYT?
