As I can see the sources of the class SingleIdMapper in hibernate 5.2.8 are still the same.
I suggest the issue exists for 5.2.8 too, but can not test it, because I would have to migrate to 5 at first,
which is not so easy because we got a bit deeper into hibernate to support liquibase on a jpa level.
At the moment we still have projects which use JDK's below 8, sorry!

Is there a chance for me to build a new fixed hibernate-envers jar based on 4.3.11.Final considering the license ?
