Sanne Grinovero, just to be sure I understand; There may be cases where it makes sense to set the hibernate.transaction.factory_class property in order to work with a special (custom) transaction factory, only it doesn't make sense to use that particular JDBCTransactionFactory. Is that what you're saying, i.e. we should raise an exception when that particular TX factory i used?
